We got incredible value for our money at Makumu Private Game Lodge! The room was top-notch with an amazing "endless view" that made us feel like we were part of the park life. The location was perfect, right by a watering hole where we spotted numerous animals. The staff treated us like family, providing exceptional service and making us feel right at home.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

Excellent safety features, free buffet breakfast and WiFi, friendly staff, and a beautiful outdoor pool. The nearest airport is conveniently close. Power points in each villa were perfect for charging all my gadgets. The lodge also offers babysitting/childcare services.

The rooms at Makumu Private Game Lodge are absolutely amazing! The beds are so comfy, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. And the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool, perfect for a great night's sleep.

The only thing I didn't love was the separate bathtubs in the private bathrooms. It's just a personal preference, but I prefer having a shower and bathtub combined in one.

The game drives were exceptionally organized, with blankets, snacks, and drinks provided for our comfort during breaks. Our knowledgeable guide, Ruan, made each drive a mesmerizing experience. Seeing the abundant wildlife was a dream come true for our family, and we were all captivated by the animals and scenery. The food at the lodge was a culinary delight, with brunches and dinners exceeding our expectations. We were touched by the personalized surprise for our wedding anniversary. the warmth, care, and attention to detail at Makumu Lodge made it an exceptional destination for families.

For dads, it would be great to have more child-friendly activities available to keep the little ones engaged and entertained during downtime.

During my recent business trip, I had the opportunity to stay at Makumu Private Game Lodge in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. This stunning lodge was chosen by my director, and I couldn't have been more impressed. The first thing that stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

This is literally my only complaint and the only thing that bothered me at all about the entire lodge and my stay there.
